Hazel Slimes: Our Story Hazel Slimes started as a small family adventure and quickly grew into something much bigger—a place where creativity, fun, and sensory play come to life! It all began when Milena, a young slime enthusiast, started experimenting in the kitchen, mixing ingredients to create the perfect slime. What started as a fun hobby soon turned into a business idea when she asked if we could sell her slimes at the local farmers market to save for college. To our surprise, people LOVED the slimes and kept coming back for more! Seeing the excitement in their faces and the joy slime brought to kids and families, we knew we had something special. That’s when we decided to launch Hazel Slimes—our very own online slime shop! Our brand is built around family, creativity, and quality. Where we came from... We are two friends Phil and Luke who met working in the toy industry, we loved to chat with our customers and how innovative children’s products could be but we wanted to pick our own brands and do things a bit differently. In 2015 littleCONCEPTS was conceived and we tentatively started our own business, it was scary and the marketing budget was so tight we even slept in a tent when doing our first Harrogate Gift Fair! Where are we going... Since our initial launch with PlanToys we have added Candylab, Mr & Mrs Tin, MOLUK, Oli&Carol and most recently LEKKID. Like our retailers we have faced a crazy economic climate but our enthusiasm for sustainable innovative kids products remains. We work closely with our retailers, especially helping to compile orders and selecting new products, we can provide lots of images and marketing materials for social media and some of the lines also have POS.
