We are Maribel and Ángeles, from Barcelona. Childhood friends and lovers of sewing and design, a hobby we shared back in high school. Both of us dedicated a large part of our professional lives to graphic design, but fate brought us back together with this project: we joined forces to design and create bags. This is how Sulu Bags was born, creating urban collections with very personal lines, outside of fashion. Bags that can be transformed into backpacks, adjustable in size, reversible in color, fanny packs, and mini-bags... Practical, lightweight, transformable, bold, handcrafted, locally made, and vegan.

KahriAnne taught herself how to sew and design, started her own clothing business at age 19, and moved to NYC at 20 years old to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. Pizzazz started as a small family business, originally specializing in jewelry before expanding into handbags and clutches. Each one of our pieces is built to reflect unique and worldly artistry. We make sure to handcraft each one with you in mind. Our accessories and handbags are made with exceptional fabrics primarily procured from Northern part of India, the Mecca of Cotton hand-loom industry. A variety of gorgeous fabrics ranging from Cotton, Jacquard, Jute, Silk and Wool are used, creating extraordinarily distinctive hand embroideries and designs. We directly work with the artisans in India to combine "East meets West", incorporating trending fashion ideas here and conceptualized with Indian production. The artisans take 2 to 3 days exclusively hand-crafting each bag, making every single product remarkably unique therefore may slightly vary in terms of design.

In the bustling Indian markets and lanes, where a play of lights makes the beads, sequins and crystals flicker and glimmer, we find the inherent pulse of that historic creative chaos, and capture it in each new Simitri design. Our small business makes accessories that go big on style and indulgence because we spend our time and effort creating with the most original designs, sourcing good quality material and thoughtfully handcrafting it into each bag. We do not hurt any animals in the making of our bags. Our raw materials and labor are ethically sourced at fair price. Gayatri Chopra began designing her signature Indian-inspired handbags from her parents’ garage in New Delhi, 2009. After she moved to Philadelphia, she was joined by her sister-in-law, Simran Kaur, who convinced her to expand her business in the United States. Together, they launched SIMITRI from Simran’s kitchen table, and over the last five years their bags have shimmered at the New York Fashion Week, were carried by the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team and also featured in O magazine. With each collection they are challenging norms and design principles, giving us accessories that are just like them, bright, bold and fearless.

Ceibo is a small independent vegan brand created by Maria Cadena in Houston, Texas in 2016. Its name refers to the Ceibo tree, one of Maria’s favorite trees which grows along the Pacific coast in Ecuador. All products are designed and handmade by Maria at her home studio in Houston, dedicating several hours in designing, cutting, sewing and assembling each Ceibo item. This results in the production of small batches per month. For example, a mini circle bag can take up to three hours and 30 minutes from cutting to final assembling. This ‘slow approach’ encourages taking time to ensure quality production and gives a personal value to each product. Ceibo is an animal friendly brand. No animal-based materials are used in the manufacturing of any product. We are constantly looking for new and better materials, not just vegan but also eco-friendly. We are currently working with an innovative natural textile made from pineapple leaves (Piñatex) 100% eco-friendly, sustainably-source and cruelty free.
