Crayon Box began in my kitchen in 2013, inspired by my two children and their love for colouring. Like many parents, I was frustrated by standard crayons that broke too easily. I wanted to create something better—crayons that were more durable, fun, and, most importantly, inspiring. After a bit of trial and error, I decided to shape the crayons into something more exciting: dinosaurs, robots, and unicorns. These fun shapes sparked my children’s creativity in ways that regular crayons never could. The goal was simple: make crayons that were fun to use and safe. I carefully selected non-toxic, high-quality products to ensure they were durable and vibrant. Every batch was tested by my children, who helped choose the designs. Over time, Crayon Box Crayons became a product that wasn’t just about colouring; it was about making imaginative play part of the experience. As word spread, customers began reaching out, sharing how much their children loved the unique shapes and vibrant colours. It was thrilling to see something I created in my kitchen bring so much joy to others. And, as we grew, I stayed committed to the core belief that creativity should be fun, accessible, and safe. Crayon Box Crayons is about more than just crayons. It’s about helping little ones unleash their imaginations, whether they’re colouring a roaring dinosaur, a magical unicorn, or a futuristic robot. AFTER 25th April only The Beaded Garden kits will be available on Faire** Beadology started in 2006 when my daughter needed a birthday party activity and we made some jewellery. This expanded to providing parties across the county for other children and then into kits so other parents could host their own parties. I then developed a range of smaller, giftable jewellery making kits for children and teens, all using top quality glass beads, not the plastic rubbish you can buy elsewhere. My daughter has now grown and I wanted something a little more grown up, the birth of The Beaded Garden happened 2 years ago and I am 'growing' this side of the business. The flower kits are very popular as adults look to be more crafty and seek mindful activities that produce pretty results they can be proud of. I hope to split the businesses as some point in the near future as they are both very different in terms of looks and potential product placement in shops. I am always creating new flower patterns and therefore new kits are added all the time. They make great gifts and would be perfect in any gift shop, craft/hobby shop or garden centres and shops with a green-fingered outlook.

After discovering all the nasties that went into normal crayons, our mission became simple....... ......Create an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional paraffin wax crayon. We do this by using natural waxes and food grade pigments. The waxes used in our crayons are: ~ Vegan ~ Sustainably sourced ~ Non-toxic ~ Handmade in the UK ~ Non GMO (Genetically modified) But we didn't stop there! In 2023 we released our range of pavement chalks and towards the end of the same year we released our range of powdered paints. Both our chalks and paints have been created with carefully sourced sustainable raw materials and food grade pigments. OUR ECO-FRIENDLY ETHOS All of our packaging has been carefully eco-consciously chosen to try and reduce its environmental impact.
