About 1.61 Soft Goods

1.61 Soft Goods is a product design studio with a focus on products that are understated tools for a modern standard. 1.61 represents the golden ratio. The number symbolizes our core focus of all products; the beauty in proportion with an emphasis on the utility and function of its purpose. We carefully select the most appropriate materials that are not only high quality, but will also age with character. Our story began growing up in separate countries, and our admiration with each of our grandparent’s heirloom memorabilia with the beauty of utility. Organically, the studio grew from a personal need for a product which the aesthetics do not compromise the function. After exciting and fruitful first 5 years of our company in Los Angeles, we moved to Tokyo, Japan in Spring 2017, to begin new chapter of our life. 1.61 Soft Goods is born in LA, and now growing in Tokyo.

DeeJons Blanks

Here at DeeJons Blanks, we try and cater for all crafters, we constantly add new products! We started our journey in January 2021 and have grown gradually. Deejons Blanks started when we made the decision to try and source unique blanks for ourselves and wanted to share the products for other crafters to use and enjoy. The name DeeJons Blanks was boune from a mix of both my name Jonathan and my wife Dee, a running joke in our family DeeJons mustard!! We hope you like our products and enjoy crafting with them.

Hecho a mano

Leather goods is a concept that comes from the French term "maroquin," which translates to "Moroccan." This is because Moroccan artisans were traditionally the most skilled in working with leather. This craft has enjoyed great importance throughout human history. The cultural richness of Morocco also stems from its traditional craftsmanship, which, for some years now, also exists in a more design-oriented version. Various and multiple materials are finely crafted by hand with machines and tools that have remained largely traditional, to create decorative and everyday objects.
