Zum Heimathafen is a studio for graphic design and illustration in Hamburg, with a strong focus on hand-printed concert posters and wearable drawings. The creative head of this construct is Alex Hanke, studied design in Cologne and Hildesheim. He is currently working as a commercial graphic designer and prints posters, designs t-shirts, record covers or flyers, but also works together with agencies and customers from all over the world in the field of corporate or packaging design. His illustrations tell quiet stories that take the viewer on a journey to old and new impressions. TO HOME PORT is a design studio run by Alexander Hanke in Hamburg/Germany. Under that umbrella, he creates screen printed gig posters and art prints. Simplicity and calmness are two features that can describe his work and that he's a passionate storyteller in his artworks but also encourages the viewer to create own stories. One can say that Alexander's mission is to take the observer on a journey of old and new memories.Read their story
