Once upon a time, Yako was a company with a bold dream: to create a unique card game that would represent modern families. Aware that traditional board games were often based on outdated stereotypes, Yako wanted to reflect current reality. Yako was committed to breaking traditional barriers and embracing the diversity that characterizes our modern society. They wanted every child playing their game to feel represented, regardless of their skin color, family, or gender. Yako has therefore created a game of the 7 families of today, bilingual, colorful and inspiring! Imagine for a moment. A multi-faceted family. In this family, there is a dad who loves cooking and playing soccer with his children, and an entrepreneurial mom, who is able to juggle work and precious moments spent with her family. But Yako did not stop there. They also wanted to represent multicultural families, same-parent families, families with disabled members, and many more. Each card was a story in itself, an ode to the diversity of families and the beauty of their differences.
