Hi! My name is Arax and I am a computer engineer. After several years of corporate business life, I decided to go into something that would be good for my soul... I've always been passionate about fine arts and I have had a love for creating unique items. Throughout the years, I attended so many workshops to learn embroidery, weaving, drawing, painting, block printing, punching, felt needling, wood painting, and resin art. And finally, 2 years ago, I founded Moa Design Store as a woman-owned small business and I have turned my passion into something I hope to share with you and your loved ones. While creating my designs, I'm dedicated to present the best quality, to support the local artisans and the women trying to make a living in Turkey. Fashion accessories such as stoles and bandanas are created out of remnants thereby making them zero waste hand crafted products. We also have recycled and handmade paper journals that are completely handmade and are one of a kind. @IndianJournals are hand crafted, the entire process from start to finish including every raw material that goes in the journal is handmade hence completely eco-friendly and have almost zero carbon footprint. 

Our company, founded in 2020 was a creative edge for Akanksha who is a textile enthusiast but was feeling a lack of any creative outlet. She started small, as it was a tough journey for a person to manage all the ends from production to sales. With the support of her sisters Minnie & Devi, we created and added some vibrancy to the collection. Together, we try to bring the spirit of traditional India into Clothing & Home Furnishings which keep the handcrafted magic alive but are affordable to everyone to appreciate in their homes. We are also a small batch brand, producing in small batches in our attempt to not overproduce and add unnecessary waste and strain on the environment. Los Angeles based designer and creative director of GREYLIN, Dora Lim began her infatuation with fashion at a young age while growing up in Brazil. With her parents starting a manufacturing business when she was a toddler, Dora spent many afternoons sneaking into the production floor observing sewers and cutters in lieu of doing homework. She quickly became enthralled by the craftsmanship of making clothes. In spring 2010 she launched GREYLIN. The inspiration for GREYLIN evolved from her international travels, discovering unknown elements, childhood memories of Brazil, abstract textiles, and interior design. Intermixing timeless everyday classics with bold patterns and colors were the driving principles behind Dora's contemporary line GREYLIN. Mer St Barth is a collection of dresses and coverups for chic mamas and their sweet littles. A love story born in St Barth over 45 years ago when our family first visited the island, Mer St Barth has been percolating within my heart for many years. Day-dreaming often found me thinking about the perfect beach cover-up to wear at Saline Beach, or what my daughter would throw on for lunch at Cheval Blanc, how I could bottle up the scent, the color, the mood, the memory and transport it home. Designing our inaugural collection happened instinctively - it sprung forth in a whirl of hand designed block prints, saturated colors and frivolous fun details. We drew the label in the sand with a stick watching the sun set. The second I laid eyes on the first dress I just knew it was time. This is not a crush, it’s a soul connection. Designer Jessie hand-draws all of her designs which are then printed on silk scarves, connecting fine art, fashion, and nature. Inspired by the relationship between nature and human of our founder, Jessie Zhao brings colorful confidence of nature and animals to women’s life through the artful use of color and original prints. Mixed is a New York City based printwear brand designing pieces that make you feel seen in full color. Since launching our first apparel collection in summer 2021, we've grown a community of print-lovers who are passionate about embracing their multitudes and celebrating mixedness. This spring, Mixed's designer and founder, Nasrin Jafari, will be debuting the brand's SS22 collection at New York Fashion Week! Design Every Mixed textile begins as a hand-drawn, original print. We love vibrant colors, rich textures and nature-inspired forms. Sustainable Production We utilize digital textile printing to produce our prints on fabrics. This eliminates the excessive water pollution and usage of chemical dyes associated with traditional textile dyeing processes. Digital printing tech allows us to print on demand, using exact amounts of ink, which reduces waste while also achieving high quality print detail and color production. Ethical Manufacturing Mixed products are ethically produced at our factories in New York City and New Delhi.

Anthropologist-turned-fashion-designer Marissa Heyl fuses handcrafted artisan fabrics by women artisans in India with fashion-forward designs–-or what she likes to call fair trade made sexy. Marissa's inspiration to launch Symbology in 2012 developed from her research as a Mahatma Gandhi Fellow, in which she researched how fair trade empowers craftswomen in India. Symbology has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Rachel Zoe's Box of Style, Causebox and Belk department stores. In her free time, Marissa loves to salsa dance and peruse bakeries on the hunt to find the perfect almond croissant.

Our products are designed for comfort and can be worn year-round in all settings: the beach, at home, in town… A short visit back in time represents collective history: “I remember the fabrics swinging like balloons in the rough sea wind after being washed in the Black Sea,” Cigdem recalls her upbringing in Sile, a fishermen’s village north of Istanbul. Her most beautiful childhood memories are from this town, where each house had its own handloom, and women weaved their own fabrics, a beautiful tradition representing women’s early attempts at self-efficacy and entrepreneurship. “But, the women stopped weaving over time, and the looms slowly started disappearing. I do not want these fabrics—and the traditions behind them—to be lost. That is why I dream of bringing Sile fabric back to the modern world.”  
 “Every corner of Turkey has beautiful textiles that have been loomed for centuries. My dream is to support the incredible women making them and introduce their work to a global market,” says Nilufer, who aspires to bring this local artistry to a global audience.
