At Peaceware, we work with traditional craft-based communities in India to offer beautiful, handmade accessories and textiles for modern life. We are based in and ship from Davidson, NC, USA, where we design many of our products at our studio. We also travel to India to design alongside local artisans. Our goal is to offer a blend of east and west, sustainably made products, celebrating the handwork and textiles of traditional Indian culture. Devika Santos was born in Mumbai, India and lived there with her parents until 1993 when she moved to the US and studied textiles at Philadelphia College of Textiles. She shares her passion for tradition with her husband and two children. Her parents still live in India, where she visits regularly. While visiting, she works with local artisans to design and create textiles. Peaceware follows ethical practices and ensures that the communities bought from are doing the same.

Wearable Art Based in Vancouver Canada, Leopards and Roses strive to create beauty in every garment while empowering the artisans from the culturally rich regions of Nepal and the surrounding Himalayan areas to bring you unique, beautiful and socially responsible clothing. Each garment is made up of a multitude of fabrics and hand-printed patterns which are individually embroidered and appliqued. This hand-crafted production means that each piece will be a unique expression of our talented artisans. Leopards and Roses is proud of our Nepal Child Education Program. All children are drawn from families where at least one parent works in Factories that manufacture for Leopards & Roses. They must be young enough to benefit from a full education and the family must be committed to seeing their child’s education through to completion. Armed with this kind of education the children will have every opportunity available to them upon graduation and even better, the capacity to give back to their community. Allesco Inc. began as a division of Articles en Cuir C.B.M. Inc. which was founded in Montreal in 1952. C.B.M. Inc.is a leading supplier of small leather goods & accessories under the brand names of Roots, Club Rochelier and Nicci. In 1982, C.B.M. diversified and began importing work gloves and household gloves into Canada under the STURRDI brand name. We introduced our “Shock Absorber Cushion Palm”, gloves with a special soft pad inserted into the palm to ease the pressure on the wearer’s hand. In 1992, Mr. Alexander Gestetner joined the company as Director of the STURRDI brand glove division. Allesco Inc has become an important Canadian importer providing major chain stores and distribution centers with products ranging from industrial gloves, household gloves, a gardening glove assortment, ski gloves and sports gloves designed for Canadian winters and a beautiful collection of leather and suede fashion gloves. Allesco Inc. has the license to market “Club Rochelier” fashion gloves, as well as “Roots” dress gloves and casual gloves. Among the services Allesco Inc. offers, we customize the gloves to meet our customer’s styles and specific needs, we offer private label or special printing on gloves, and we also supply suitable point of purchase displays which aid in marketing the product. SAMARA bags is a cruelty-free fashion house based in Toronto. SAMARA is run by two sisters; Salima and Samara Visram and was born out of the need for elegant, minimalist bags and purses. Each product is created with the finest, eco-friendly materials, with great attention to detail. Each purchase contributes towards the provision of light to children in East Africa through the Soular Backpack (a Not for Profit started by Salima Visram). SAMARA has a wide range of vegan leather bags, their latest product being an apple-leather mini, which is created with apple skins (a by-product of the juicing industry).

I started The Mane Dealer in November 2007 and never ever thought it would be where it is today. A collection of own brand products growing every year and focused solely on bringing Mane Dealer clients new and old what they ask for. With a 40 year background in the equestrian world and exceptional experience in large scale retail with high street brands, I feel I am equipped to give Mane Dealer customers a unique service and a first class shopping experience. The company has grown beyond all expectations and I feel privileged to have an amazing core of clients who are growing daily as more Mane Dealer products arrive.
