Hello! I’m Mariana, the creator behind Kaju Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, my journey began in 2008 designing clothes. After a few years in that role, I was invited to design a jewelry line for a prominent company, I dedicated three years to that role. In 2016, I moved to Canada, and by 2018, I found myself longing to craft beautiful pieces with my own hands again. What started as a hobby soon blossomed into Kaju, leading me to leave my 9-to-5 job to fully pursue my passion. Every piece of Kaju jewelry is handcrafted by me in my studio in Victoria, BC, featuring a minimalist aesthetic designed for the everyday woman. Quality is my priority, because your jewelry should not only be beautiful but also endure the test of time. I use only high quality materials, including AAA-grade pearls, gemstones, and 14k gold-filled, rose gold-filled, and sterling silver.
