Cocora is an ECO luxury brand that seeks to create handcrafted garments, versatile and above all durable over time. We design in Ibiza and were inspired by its coves, its flowers, its natural beauty. We have our hearts divided between love and respect for the craftsmanship and quality of Colombian design and the vibration and lifestyle of Ibicenco: Cocora is the result of that fusion. The inspiration for our name comes from the Cocora Valley in the department of Quindío in Colombia, a natural paradise and birthplace of our designer. It means water star and is the name of the indigenous princess who lived and fought for this valley. Our brand portrays a warrior and confident woman. We create a-temporary and exclusive garment, Haute Couture Swimwear. All our garments can be made to measure and to order.

Vannina Vesperini is a pioneer of the concept “Desous-Dessus” or how to wear lingerie as a piece of clothing. His Camisole, the Original, is his iconic model. It is now protected by copyright and its success is well established. Vannina Vesperini has been working with color associations for 25 years. They are for her a passion that goes beyond aesthetics and have guided her to become a color therapist by healing through colors. By combining her color expertise with her collection, she creates the garment that makes you feel good.

I grew up on the East Coast beaches, always in a bathing suit, surfboard in hand, surrounded by an amazing group of women that really helped guide me through life. When we started to think about launching the brand, we needed to ensure that it was (1) highly sustainable, protecting the oceans I grew up surfing in, and (2) empowering to all the important women in our lives. So ,our mission became that: We are an eco-friendly, timeless swimwear line devoted to making every woman feel beautiful and responsible at the same time. The fabric we use is made up of 100% regenerated nylon yarn from pre and post-industrial waste: fishing nets, carpet fluff and tulle. All the prints are hand-painted by me, designed by me, and designed for all ages and body types. All our suits are named after inspiring women in our lives, and especially those that we grew up with both in Bay Head, New Jersey and Bethany Beach, DE. We consciously produce all of our pieces in our small-scale and ethical partner-facilities in Turkey, Portugal, Italy and India. We also work with favored fibers and produce our swimwear from fabrics made in Italy and Portugal from certified recycled ocean plastic. Bikini Genie was started in my living room in June 2016 while I was dreaming of a tropical escape from my day-to-day life.
