In this age of fast fashion, faster lives and disposable everything, Hataguchi Collective quietly soldiers on in the opposite direction, patiently taking the old and turning it into something new. I was traveling in India when I discovered a band of paper artisans and print-makers, using traditional methods passed down through generations. Inspired by how they gave old cotton garments a second birth as handmade paper, I came up with the idea of Hataguchi Collective—proprietor of traditional paper products with a modern aesthetic. I decided to name my paper brand after my grandmother’s family name, Hataguchi, the latter being the last member of the Hataguchi family line. Our paper products are made of up-cycled cotton waste from the garment manufacturers. Turning scraps into fine paper with a purpose. Recycled cotton paper is as durable as it is beautiful and most importantly, it is beneficial for our planet. I want people to rediscover the joy of finding a personal letter in their mailbox. I think the best gift you could give to someone is the release of handwritten words on paper. I hope that Hataguchi Collective products inspire people to share their feelings in that tangible way. Alice-Louise Press was launched in 2005 under the creative direction of Amy Lesniewicz. Starting as a small studio in Amy’s garage, the business expanded into a beautiful retail storefront in historic Perrysburg, Ohio. At Alice-Louise Press, we take pride in our brand and our products, which are all designed and meticulously letterpressed at our Perrysburg studio on our three Heidelberg Windmills, called the “Iron Ladies.” Customers who visit our Perrysburg location can view these antique presses in action, as we create our unique array of products. At 3 months old Aimee traced the pattern of her Grandmother's shirt with her tiny finger. At age 12 she discovered the magical world of art and design on a trip to San Francisco to see a friend graduate from design school. This is when she decided she was going to move to the San Francisco Bay Area and become an artist when she grew up. After graduating Sacramento State with a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art she packed her bags and moved to the bay. All of Aimee's designs are created with a ruler, a circle template, a ruler, and an insane number of dots! Each piece is an explosion of color, happiness, and wonder.

He graduated from the Belfast School of Art in Ireland and worked for several years in home accessories merchandising for Habitat & The Conran Shop before establishing his studio heraldblack in 2014. Stephen produces a range of hand printed & original monoprints as well as card and poster ranges that are stocked by retailers in the UK, EU & USA. His work is also licensed by Habitat, Anthropologie, Columbia University Press & LittleBrown Book Group.

Born in Memphis, TN, Karen moved to Tokyo, Japan, traveled the world, and lived in Omaha, NE, Cincinnati, OH, and Houston, TX all by the age of seventeen. These early adventures fostered her love of the arts and a desire to share this joy with friends, family and others. Karen attended her dream college, the Rhode Island School of Design, majored in apparel design and moved to New York City to live the artist's life working for brands like KIKIT and J. Crew. It was the 80s in NYC, a time of inspiration and innovation. When she set roots in the suburbs to start a family, Karen translated her colorful design aesthetic to everything she did, from faux finishes and murals to planting gardens and entertaining friends. In 1999, Karen began designing custom invitations for non-profit organizations out of her guesthouse. Those first original drawings and hand-finished cards were the spark and start of Karen Adams Designs. Today, Karen, husband Ed, son Avery, and daughter Wallis, along with their amazing team, create a thriving collection of made-to-order paper goods, desktop items and gifts in their Memphis studio. All products are printed locally and hand-finished in their headquarters, a former bakery located in the Edge District, an up-and-coming Memphis Arts Community. In 2019, Émeline Pedemonte, the founder of Foglietto, is drawing on the experience of these historic user testers and on more recent design techniques to rethink the iconic office accessory that is the memo card. Hello, I'm Jenna, I am the Founder of Bearsy And The Boy. I am also a Mum of two small people and I'm based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where I work from my lovely home office. I am currently building on the business and designing new products all whilst planning a Wedding and a house extension, drinking too many cups of coffee, eating too many biscuits and wishing I was on holiday :) Bearsy And The Boy launched in March 2018 with just one product… Baby Thought Bubbles, the alternative option to milestone cards! Whilst on Maternity leave I had been given a pack of milestone cards but by the time I got around to using them I had missed half of the milestones. I decided to create a product which new parents could use whenever they liked, which were not led by dates / timeframes. The captions are all very honest, super sweet and really funny (no, honestly they are, my Mum told me!). Following on from the success of Baby Thought Bubbles I then went on to launch a range of bubbles for all occasions such as Pregnancy, Weddings, Pets, Self Care and lots more. In 2020 I then launched a new and exciting range of pocket sized packs including Positivity cards, Lunch Box Notes and Love Notes, these are a gorgeous way to let someone know you are thinking of them. The notes are funny, sweet and positive. My aim is to add a little bit of happiness to a persons day in some way, shape or form, sprinkling a tiny bit of positivity all over this funny old planet of ours. Jenna x
