Dell'Amore Marinara was originally the recipe of our grandmother Filomena, who grew up in the town of Agropoli, in the Campania region of southern Italy. The photograph of her on our label was taken in 1914. Filomena emigrated to the U.S. in 1924. She settled in Brooklyn, NY and raised a family there. Her children and grandchildren swore she was the best cook in the world. The love and care that grandmother Filomena put into her cooking has become a family tradition and a trademark of Dell’Amore Marinara Sauce today. We began bottling her signature marinara under the Dell’Amore name in 1986, making us one of the of early pioneers of premium, authentic pasta sauce being sold to the public. Capobianco Organic Farm is an organic farm located in Puglia in the countryside of Foggia. It is a young project, born by Rachele and Vincenzo Capobianco, whose roots can count on family experience in the agri-food sector for more than four generations. The common thread of this project is the dualism between tradition and innovation. We offer canned tomatoes, a traditional product, but with a modern twist. We tell the flavors of the past Ours is a family story set in the hills of the Sicilian hinterland, in the heart of the Madonie. Since 1965 in our estate we have been growing fruit and vegetables that we then bring to the tables of gourmets, in the form of delicious recipes ready to be enjoyed. On our clayey-calcareous soils, rich in potassium, we apply the methods of traditional agriculture with care and dedication, without the use of herbicides, pesticides and synthetic chemical fertilizers. The rotation with lentils and wheat makes our harvest tastier, juicier and with a high health and nutritional value. The Siccagno tomato is the prince of our recipes. The arid land in the center of Sicily, between Villalba and the Bilìci Valley, enriches it with antioxidants (lycopene) and vitamins A and C. We chose to grow it because, rich in pulp and poor in water, makes our sauces tasty and full-bodied, sweet and true. We bring to the kitchen the great Sicilian sauces ready to be poured on pasta, prepared with only Siccagno tomato and ingredients grown in our lands.
