About ISLAND SHARKS CHOCOLATE

We are a small batch, craft-chocolate company based in Hilo (He - low), Hawai'i. Our 3 founders all combined their separate knowledge to form 1 ohana / family. We are a chocolate family now, living and breathing the Island life. Our name comes from co-founder Erin Sharkey, whose last name is of Irish Origin. We wanted to include the nickname "Sharky", in our chocolate brand as it had become synonymous with Hawaiian Chocolate. The pioneering work of his father, Tom Sharkey of Hilo Sharks Chocolate is now being passed to a new generation. We use Erin's Dad's Hawaiian cacao beans, Likao Kula (Kona Hawai'i) cacao beans, beans from other bespoke origins known for ethicality and quality.
