Based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, our designs are contemporary, fresh and inspired by a love of the nature around us together with the amazing colour schemes this offers. We want our embroidery kits to be appealing and achievable for stitchers of all abilities. We aim to give a sense of enjoyment and to provide our customers with the opportunity to fulfil their creative spirit while relaxing and stitching beautiful designs. Our embroidery kits contain all the materials that a new or more advanced stitcher needs to complete the project and are produced in our own studio, using high quality materials sourced, where possible, from local suppliers. We were thrilled to be featured in the Cosmopolitan Top 10 UK embroidery kits and we have also been featured in a number of the popular embroidery and cross stitch magazines, including Love Embroidery, Cross Stitcher and Cross Stitch Crazy. Owner and Founder Janet Felix is passionate about creating fresh embroidery designs that can be enjoyed by everyone and that bring a smile to your face as you are stitching. Her sewing ‘career’ started early in life, coming from a family where sitting doing nothing, or saying ‘I’m bored’ was frowned. She had a love of crafting and making things from an early age and loves that her Mum still has some of her early attempts around the house!

During my long professional career, I decided to design the elements that I couldn't find on the market for my projects. That's when I discovered that I am passionate about textile design and, after the success of my first collection, I decided to design more prints capable of redecorating a space with two brushstrokes. Either with a cushion or wallpaper. In other words, a versatile and functional product, but at the same time, with a careful, eye-catching and affordable design. Our purpose is to help you build spaces where you can be inspired and joyful. For this reason, we offer you totally personalized and free advice to show you how with just a few elements you can give your favorite corners a new, different and personal look. All our products are made in Spain. All our suppliers and manufacturers are Spanish companies, thus contributing a grain to the social sustainability of our country and reducing the carbon footprint. Sustainable Fabrics and Wallcoverings. The fabrics are 100% polyester and the wallpaper is Eco-solvent vinyl. Both are printed using a digital printing system that minimizes the use of water throughout the production process. In addition, the inks used for printing are inks free of volatile components, harmless and environmentally friendly. All products are custom produced. Only the meters of fabric or paper you need are produced. This way we save energy and materials.
My dream is to make people smile and be happy! I think that when you do your hobby and create, you feel happy!

The creation of Marvling Bros is a story that began in 2010 with two mums at the school gates of a sleepy surburban primary school in Essex… In 2010 the head mistress of the school held a competition for the pupils. The task seemed straightforward and simple enough: How much can you fit in a matchbox? Hayley’s seven-year-old son was not enthused by idea, but Hayley entered for him and came up with all sorts of objects that not only fitted in the matchbox but fulfilled a concept too. For example, a grain of rice and a coriander seed which she labelled ‘curry takeaway’, and a picture of the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers became a miniature art gallery. She did not win the competition, and most people thought it was mad, but one other person at the school totally got it - Emma. Two years later, Emma, inspired by the matchboxes, (and having just offloaded her youngest child at school) thought the concept could be the basis for a business and for nine months she and Hayley beavered away researching products, developing ideas and learning how to run an ecommerce company. They launched in July 2013 with an ecommerce website and 12 different product designs. In the first week they sold exactly ten matchboxes, half of those to people they knew. Not the big hit they were hoping for. However, by their first Christmas, they were flying out of the door. In the last eight years the business has gone from strength to strength, while keeping the company ethos - to provide inspiration

Based in Scotland, we're an embroidery kit business with an eco-friendly ethos and our purpose is to make embroidery accessible to as many people as possible! Paraffle was founded by Sammy Bishop in 2016 while she was studying for a PhD in Edinburgh. Looking for a creative outlet - and a way to give meaningful gifts that would suit her student budget - Sammy taught herself how to embroider in her spare time. Although she picked up embroidery in her twenties, Sammy was taught to sew by her mum when she was young - and even told her parents that she was going to start a business called 'Sammy's Sewing' when she was 7 years old! Scouting around to name her new venture, Sammy came across 'paraffle': an old Scots word meaning 1) 'embroidery'; and 2) 'an ostentatious display' - and the name stuck. At least 10% of our profits are donated to charities, wherever we can we only use Organic & Fairtrade materials, and we support rainforest protection & reforestation projects to offset all of the carbon emissions involved with our business.
We are a leading designer and retailer of luxury yarns, DIY knitting and crochet kits and DIY weaving and macrame kits. We design stylish, unique kits that are innovative, creative, accessible and ready to make for today’s busy committed crafter and casual creative; and to inspire and nuture artisans in their own handmade journey. Claire Gelder used her love and passion of working with wool to found her business Wool Couture in 2015, aiming to inspire others to take up the centuries old pastimes of macrame, knitting, weaving and crochet by giving these timeless hobbies a twenty-first century makeover. We focus on exceptional and original designs and pattern writing and inspiring artisans across the world to make our products. In a world where so much of our work is intangible, with work and society sometimes being isolating and with work taking place on computers and in the digital world, making things with our hands and fingers gives us a feeling of control and mastery. It's a way of creating tangible order and beauty - a real sensory touchpoint — and bringing back a sense of free and relaxed play into our busy adult lives. So much so that knitting is fast being promoted as therapeutic practice by many experts. Wool Couture is now sold in over 42 countries and we have seen demand soar as more people have turned to needlecraft as a rewarding hobby and a return to an easier pace.
