I was seventeen years old and getting in the most popular boy at schools truck for a ride home. As I climbed in, my skirt got stuck in my backpack, exposing my “nylon butt.” You know, when a girls’ rear end is smushed into a pair of high-waisted nylon tights. I quickly jerked my skirt free and hopped in the truck, but the thought that he had seen me at my unflattering worst horrified me.* That day, I decided I never wanted to be humiliated like that again. So I went out looking for something fun to wear on my legs that didn’t pinch my waist and make me look like a stuffed sausage. But all I could find were those traditional thigh-high stockings, the super thin ones that run if you look at them the wrong way and come in only the most boring colors. I never found this thigh-high I dreamed of, but the idea was always there; I even knew I wanted to name them something fun and, well, “kicky” like my mom used to say whenever we wore something cute and sassy. Here is what I believe: we want to feel good about ourselves. We don’t want to be crammed in a pair of tights with the dreaded “muffin” top poking out for the world to see. Kix’ies® are practical, comfortable, and even healthy for women (they let our “girl parts” breathe). And yes, they may even feel a bit sexy to wear, which is an added bonus! Moonchild Yoga Wear is a boutique one-woman owned athleisure brand, founded in lovely Denmark in 2015. Moonchild’s collections of yoga wear and loungewear are inspired by the colors and lights of the Scandinavian nature blended with beautiful and feminin minimalism. We have decided to produce all our yoga wear ethically and responsibly, making use of carefully-selected fabrics to create beautiful pieces for yoga, Pilates or other types of movement, without compromising performance. DESIGNED BY WOMEN - FOR WOMEN The woman behind the Moonchild Yoga Wear brand is founder, owner and creative director Louise Wang Nielsen. She is a skilled creative designer and Louise’s eye for fashion, love for yoga and passion for the environment has created an international activewear brand. Louise launched Moonchild in 2015 from her home in Aarhus, Denmark where she lives with her husband and two little boys. Having fallen in love with yoga and practicing yoga on a daily basis, Louise had a dream to combine her fashion design education with this passion. Leaving her studies and taking the unbeaten track as a young entrepreneur, Louise set out to begin forming the dream of what would become Moonchild Yoga Wear.

Hi! I’m Shirley, the Co-founder of Crave By Frederick Wilhem, a high-quality, contemporary women’s clothing and accessories brand. I started CFW in my basement back in 2016 with the help of Wilhem, my beloved rescue Chug. Together, we dove into the world of fashion manufacturing our sights set on producing trendy, quality fashion at affordable prices. Our operations quickly expanded and soon Wilhem was not the only one who was adopted on to the CFW team.
