I began making tshirts in September 2020 for myself and my girls. That turned into making shirts for family, then friends, and the rest, as they say, is history. I am a wife, mother of 5, and a part-time paralegal looking to go full-time of living my crafty little heart’s dream. When searching for a name for my business in the beginning I struggled. And then it just hit me, and so FreeBird Tees was created. My business is named after my dad - his CB handle many years ago was Free Bird. He become very sick in November of 2020 and we soon found out he had lung cancer, amongst other health issues. He passed in January 2021. My mom has joked that I am now “Free Bird”. I suppose I am.

I am the owner and creator of VEM Creations. This dream of mine started back in 2020 after being home all day and figuring out that I loved to craft. I wanted to help my husband with some expenses around the house. Being a SAHM is a blessing but being able to help with things while watching our girls grow is something I enjoy doing. I started with apparel after my husband gifted me a CRICUT for Christmas. I enjoyed making shirts for our family and our family birthday parties. Family members as well as friends peeked an interest in my apparel. A year into making apparel, I decided I wanted to add a new item to my shop. One day strolling through tik tok videos a doormat video popped up and my interest to start doormats began. After much research and a few practice runs (for family members and friends) I decided to open my own Esty shop on May 2021. Since then, I have had over 300 sales with over 135 5-Star reviews. When I'm not working on my business, I am with my husband, our girls and our 3 dogs. I love being a mom, explore new places, go on walks with our pups, ride bikes with our girls and simply spend time with my family. After a long day (and after putting the girls down for bed) I love to kick off my shoes, turn the tv on, grab a snack and pretend like I'm going to watch a show....I end up falling asleep after 5 minutes in. This journey of opening up my own shop has been amazing! Best part of it all is my customers, nothing would be possible without your support.

Hi, I’m Louise and I run Kaohinani from our base in Brighton, UK. For the past few years I’ve been searching out the best ways to bring you ethical, planet-friendly clothing at a fair price. I started my journey on Depop, picking up the most colourful clothes from charity shops and car boots, spending hours trawling through the rails to find a hidden gem. Nowadays my stock comes from artisan suppliers all over the world! The clothes we stock are carefully sourced from vetted suppliers whose workers are paid a fair wage for their craft. These clothes are crafted from quality materials, there’s no fast fashion here! Where possible, we like to use recycled materials for our products, lessening our impact on the planet and it’s resources. You’ll find many of our clothes have lived a past life, for example our sari smocks and bell sleeved tops are made from stunning jewel-toned vintage sari fabric. We use pretty preloved Kantha blankets (already upcycled from cotton saris) for our beautiful Kantha jackets.
