a.b.art was created in 1991 by Alexander Burhans, a German watchmaker and designer, from the Bauhaus School. a.b.art is different, a.b.art is authentic, a.b.art does not seek shine, nor glamour, but wants to convince with a beauty stripped of shapes but also discreet materials as well as high quality, a.b.art is the expression of a true passion and care taken daily in the manufacture of watches within this Swiss company . a.b.art has won numerous awards in the field of watchmaking design: from 1999 the Form 99, the Grand Prize for German Design and again in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and then in 2009 for the OA 101 model, the Reddot Design Award, the highest award in this field. The new collections of a.b.art are always very design and minimalist but more fashionable and in the air of time.
