Indika is an idea that grew out of our love of India’s creative traditions and our interest in social welfare. We are connected with a handful of organizations around India that work to bring employment to artisans and keep alive traditional skills. These organizations are focused on ecological awareness and self sustainability. In the face of harsh climates and natural disasters they push boundaries socially, economically and technologically in the work that they do. The unique nature of their lives can be felt in the things they produce. Part of our philosophy involves buying what is offered for sale – never dictating to the artisans what should be produced for the western market. You will find that the items we offer have a distinctive quality. Working from our barn in Gloucestershire, The Bespoke Workshop makes unique, thoughtful gifts and decorations. They’re perfect for creating a sense of togetherness between you and those you love, whether you’re nearby or far apart. Head Maker at the Workshop, Scarlett, is a creative at heart - a former Fashion graduate who once worked as a buyer for a lifestyle company. Frustrated by the disposable, generic nature of the gifts there and with a yearning to head back to her country roots, she was drawn to produce something more meaningful. Back at the start of 2017, Scarlett bought her first laser machine and launched The Bespoke Workshop, with the aim to create thoughtful keepsakes that preserve a treasured time in one’s life. Fast-forward four years, we now have a fantastic team of five, four laser engraving machines (!) and thousands of customers all over the world who love our quirky, family-focused gifts.

Musical instrument maker Jacob Sokoloff has been making tuned wind chimes for over 30 years. Jacob first found success with his magical sounding steel pipe chimes. Later on, he found a way to capture the magic in a series of affordable, miniature, tuned chimes (led by the “car charms” series), which he now offers to the wholesale market. I am Savannah, the maker and designer of Savvie Studio, a modern home goods and gifts brand. I am endlessly inspired by nature and I am always exploring new ways to bring plants into your home or office, as I genuinely believe plant filled spaces make for a happier healthier life! All of our production, from packaging to laser cutting, happens in my Denton, Texas based studio with a small team of four creatives. In a world of mass produced goods I find great joy in making the artist's hand evident in every piece; and find hope in the community that handmade goods create.

Savage Works is a family run business, we design and rusty metal ornaments and sculptures for gardens across the UK. Each garden ornament is welded using mild steel, this is allowed to rust outside creating a beautiful rustic orange appearance. Our business began as a hobby, Mark developed a passion for welding through his job as a design engineer. He used his talents to create beautiful garden ornaments for his home and as gifts. These sculptures received wonderful feedback which resulted in Savage Works being created. Savage Works takes pride in being active members of Made In Britain, contributing to and endorsing British manufacturing initiatives.

Our name, A Blackbird Sang, is taken from a line in the poem Adlestrop by Edward Thomas: "And for that minute, a blackbird sang close by." Founded by Genny and Tony in 2016, our work is inspired by nature and poetry, drawn (by us) in our studio in Oxfordshire and all made in the UK. We exhibit our work at local and national prestigious events including Oxfordshire artweeks and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We use minimal plastic-free packaging. We work with suppliers who care about quality and deliver on time. Our smaller designs are packed by Julie here in our village of Stonesfield. Our key hooks are bent at our kitchen table, if not by Tony then by local students. Part of the A Blackbird Sang revenues go towards funding conservation projects such as meadow restoration here in Oxfordshire and supporting local and national charities in the wildlife, food and mental health sectors. Based in Chavenage on the outskirts of Tetbury in Gloucestershire, Wildlife World is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of wildlife friendly products for the garden. Our efforts to produce innovative and valuable nesting habitats and feeders for birds, mammals, amphibians and insects are benefiting wildlife all over Europe. And our commitment to original product features has gained us an enviable reputation as leaders in both design and manufacture. We are one of the few suppliers with our own UK workshop. Our uniquely designed products are first manufactured and tested in the UK. The design is then registered with Copywatch. The products may then be produced by subcontractors in the UK or other countries who all meet our environmental standards. We are FSC® certified and Sedex registered. A lot of the timber we use for special production comes from a local sawmill in the Forest of Dean. Our workshops use all renewable electricity. Our workshops have featured on CBeebies and ITV News at 10. We use recycled cardboard for most of our packing. Originally we had a big round machine, the ULEY TIGER, that turned used boxes into packing material, now we recycle old cardboard and have replaced plastic packing with paper. We specify recycled (reused) plastic where it has to be used, we use new compostable materials and jute for our own food packs.

In 2006, Anne Cork invented a new product in her basement with wire and pliers. That product became Easy Arranger and had since sold over 1 million pieces. Along the way, Anne met and worked with the artist Lee Murrell. When he decided to retire, he trained Anne and sold her his equipment. Now Anne and her team create gorgeous copper and enamel flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, ferns etc. in Cedar Springs, MI under the name Annabelle Noel Designs. We use a technique called torch fire enameling to create our items. They can be used indoors or out and since enamel is melted glass, it will never fade.
