NorthHouse Creative Co. was born out of a craving for the hand-made for keeps. I grew up in an amazing little paradise of Traverse City, Michigan- One of America's most beautiful Summer Towns. During my junior year of high school I spent an unbelievable summer at Interlochen Arts Academy studying graphite and charcoal illustration, painting, and pottery, where I was truly fortunate enough to study under some of the most talented artists of their time. I was able to create amongst towering oak trees, listening to the gentle lapping of the shoreline, while the orchestras practicing their odes. It was here that I knew my life would be centered around the visual arts. I received my Bachelor's degree at Kendall College of Art & Design in 2011 and I won’t say that putting together a senior thesis in art school lead to my appreciation of (and slight addiction to) caffeine, but I won’t deny it either… From 2013 to 2019 I worked in the luxury event industry as the resident Graphic Designer for one of the top Event Planners in the industry, lending and curating my skills towards the creation of client branding, stationery pieces such as Save the Dates and Invitations, copy writing, and calligraphy.
