Hi, I’m Sloane! We make dainty, modern, safe for everyday jewelry. Sleep in it, shower in it, workout in it! How we got started -- As a crafty kid, I fell in love with creating anything and everything. In high school, I found my niche in crafting polymer clay jewelry, which I sold to classmates and teachers. After graduating, my passion led me to pursue a BFA in metalsmithing/jewelry design. In 2013, I launched my jewelry business, starting with resin pieces since I had limited resources as a young college graduate. Over time, I acquired metalsmithing equipment and tools, and it evolved into a thriving fine jewelry operation, now managed by my husband and me. We handcraft each piece from Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Filled wire, using techniques like cutting, shaping, soldering, forging, and polishing. Our designs focus on creating dainty, modern pieces suitable for everyday wear. Additionally, we offer a personalized jewelry line, allowing customers to engrave meaningful text or images. As a handmade metalsmith originating in California and Utah her designs call on many different aspects from the west to east coast. Hi, I'm Rachael! My passion for creativity started when I was really young, I grew up around two important people in my life (my grandparents) who were always using their hands to make something. My grandma loved painting, cooking, baking and crafting. My grandpa worked in his workshop building wood birdhouses, puzzles, building golf clubs, etc. He bought me a "how to" sketch book as a child. It was of the simplest little humans and creatures but I loved sitting at the dining room table and drawing with him. I didn't find out later until he passed that he owned his own carpentry company called Garling Builders. I thought he just worked for someone. Nope, he worked for himself! I see can some of myself in his story and I know he would be so proud of me. It wasn't until 2014 that I started Simply Chic Jewelry and I took it even further in 2015 by studying YouTube videos on metalsmithing techniques. After learning the basic techniques, I finally felt like I could bring my vision of everyday luxury to life. During this time my career grew as well and I felt like I could make that sustainable and versatile piece for which I was searching.

Having suffered with anxiety for over 6 years now and picking at my skin/nails for as long as I can remember, I wanted to create a brand that both helped my situation and most importantly others going through similar experiences. I'd always try to hide the skin and was afraid to get manicures, as I knew I’d pick them off... But since discovering anxiety rings, they've helped me break the bad habit and distract my brain in the moments that mattered most. Now, my nails are looking lots better!
