Each design is a labor of love, a sprinkling of humor, a dash of quirkiness, and a whole lot of happiness. Denim & Daisy was founded by a Naturally Curly Mom of 4 kids, and has a passion for uplifting women and helping them feel and look their best. At Denim & Daisy we believe that all hair types, colors and textures should be celebrated. Andra Carter, the owner and founder, started Denim & Daisy back in 2018 to help her family get through a financial crisis. She noticed that there was a gap in the hair accessory market for teens and moms. A few companies existed, but she wanted more styles that were actually trendy, durable AND affordable. She started sewing scrunchies and watched Denim & Daisy come to life! Handmade scrunchies were such a success that we quickly expanded into hair clips, bandanas, and fanny packs. With the help of our manufacturers and suppliers in China, we now offer a wide range of handmade accessories now including socks and jewelry – but the coolest part is that we are 100% women owned and our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials. Denim & Daisy started in a tiny basement office and has now expanded into our current warehouse where we work with 400+ stores internationally and globally. We are still considered a small business, but we work hard and our wholesale customer relationships are very important to us! We are always updating our products to stay current with the trends. In creating Tori Lo Designs i wanted to cross boundaries within leather work, using fun and creative dying techniques hand colouring every hide to create a individual and unique surface that the bags can then be moulded. Each product is hand made in each step from cutting to dying and finally sewing. Only using top quality veg tan leather, and ensuring that each hand stitch is perfectly in place. My products are carefully crafted and sustainably curated from start to finish - with slow fashion garment and accessory-making practices in mind. My entire range is designed, sourced, and printed in the UK, in small batch orders to reduce waste. My story is inspired by my late grandma - she owned a neck scarf or two, which were the epitome of her 1950s 'lady of class and style' persona. However, for me, the colours on these inherited gems were too muted, so I began creating my own colour block designs for scarves. My hairstylist was the first to notice my whimsical handcrafted 'trial' scarf - and from the moment she asked where I'd 'bought' it, I knew this was more than a one-off project. I've designed and printed hundreds of limited edition designs in the Seven years I have been running - which are here to speak of your fun character and tell generations to come about your style & class.

With these skills, women gain a sustainable income while applying their creative talent and vision to artisanal work. Sewing New Futures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and every purchase you make has a purpose. The money earned goes toward career training, education, medical care, and social services. Most importantly, sales of these goods benefit the women who are brave enough to disregard their cultural norms and refuse a life of prostitution. Saskia Wrycroft is a Manchester Based Accessories Brand Specialising in Gemstone Jewellery and Hair Accessories with Contemporary styles. I opened Business in 2014 at fourteen years old after making jewellery for fun for a few years. I chose to wire wrap gemstones as they were a product I loved myself, but found were really overpriced. I knew I could make and sell them for less than half the price, and that’s what I did. Since then I’ve learned a few new techniques and perfected my basic jewellery making skills. I use a mixture of polished and raw stones. I like to use a variety of geometric shaped beads and some rough nuggets. I use broken beads and chips of gemstones with resin to make my Hair Accessories and a few of my jewellery components. I didn’t start this journey with a business plan, or even a logo, I just wanted to make crystal jewellery affordable so more people could enjoy something I love.
