Ever since I can remember I have been in awe by textiles made all around the world. The intricate designs and artistry behind them just always blew my mind. The way that these weavers sit at a hand loom for hours at a time is truly an act of love and a dying art. Having this innate attraction to textiles I found myself going to college at FIDM and graduating in international sourcing and product development. From there I assumed that I would stay in the fashion industry but looking back interiors had always been my passion. After becoming a mama I wanted to create something that would allow me to work from home and get my creative juices flowing again after leaving my 9-5 sales job. Using my sourcing background I started researching textiles from other countries like Morocco, Thailand, Turkey and India. Shortly after I knew that I wanted to start a company where we would have textiles incorporated from all around the world. Thus Eclectic Collective was born.

Moose & Co Founded by Jon & Craig we have a love of making and supplying handmade products Made and Designed in Wales and we use traditional Welsh design as well as Welsh, Scottish and Irish tartan and adding a modern twist and making more affordable products that can cater to people who love Welsh designs and quality home furnishings. Our business was started from our kitchen table making small items and doing local craft fairs back in 2018 and from there we have never looked back doing our first trade show in 2019 at a local Welsh trade fair. Craig studied horticulture at the national Botanic gardens of Wales and has had a passion for photography, art and sewing for many years and he creates the designs and produces the products alongside Jon. Jon & Craig have created the brand Moose & Co as a house hold name throughout Wales and are expanding there ranges and stockists to cater for all types of retailers.

My designs are vintage inspired for the modern home. I design everything in my studio just outside of Boston where there is historic inspiration around every corner. I produce my designs with my weaving house in India in very small batches so production is limited. I believe pulling from our history creates textiles that are soulful and grounded in meaning. Yōkai is primarily inspired by our love of travel and experiencing new cultures. When we were travelling around South East Asia back in 2019, we fell in love with the aesthetic and beauty of the Balinese culture, homes and environment. We became friends with locals and wanted to bring the beauty of the island home with us, to share with others. Now we take our inspiration from global cultures, combined with the simple boho styles of Bali. Our items are all hand crafted in local workshops and villages, and we aim to source and manufacture our pieces as naturally and organically as possible. To achieve this we choose to dye our fabrics using mother nature’s organic materials, such as leaves, bark and spices. We aspire to continue our aim to become more environmentally friendly whilst balancing this with our target to grow as a business. Sustainability and environmental consciousness is at the heart of our business. Since our inception, we have taken steps to eliminate the use of plastic within our supply chain and distribution network. We have also partnered with a local charity in Bali that has a strong focus on environmental sustainability. The primary focus of the charity is to replant trees and create/plant artificial reefs in Bali in an attempt to offset our global carbon footprint.
