October Violet began in 2020 as a houseplant pop-up in combination with a small in-home plant studio. Searching for plant apothecary options, quickly turned to creating an all-organic houseplant product line. Our plant polish incorporates neem oil, highly praised as a pest deterrent, in combination with liquid fractionated coconut oil, a plant-safe oil for shine that doesn't clog plant stomata, as well as alcohol-free essential oils, which act as natural pest repellents. The ease and shine our dusting gloves provide when paired with our organic plant polish, are the reason plant lovers consider these absolute must-haves, making these products our best sellers. Our houseplant soils are hand-mixed in small batches using all organic ingredients. We created three primary blends: Earth, Water, Fire. Our soil mediums are paired with compost-free potting soil and cinnamon to aid in prevention of common houseplant gnats and pests.
