Created and developed by Dr. Alisa Brady, Sweetums is on a mission to enhance the human experience by increasing pleasure and supporting confidence with quick and easy to use beauty and wellness products. Dr. Brady realized that there is a sparsity of options when it comes to feminine wipes and intimate wipes and although many wipes offer freshness, they taste horrible and are not conducive to intimacy. Most wipes also have very few scents to choose from. Sweetums offers innovative products with scent and flavor, including flavored intimate wipes for men and women, flavored fragrance, and more! These fun and flirty products are a hit at stores and catch the eye and interest of shoppers.

THE STORY After the birth of my little daughter Valerie, I was desperate during her daily cleaning with wet wipes. Page suffered from skin irritation again and again and in addition a huge mountain and millers and gathered every day. Alternative products such as cotton washcloths were again not hypoallergenic and would become too hard and scratchy for your sensitive children's skin without fabric softener after a lot of washing. That's why I simply decided to develop a sustainable washing pad myself according to my own specifications. I got help from a small weaving mill in a neighboring village of Kulmbach, my hometown. Together, we develop a fabric that is hypoallergenic, can be washed at up to 95°C and stays soft after washing without fabric softener. 2016 The initial feedback on the material was so positive that I decided to get started right away with the help of my advertising agency. So we produced our first products. Her name was not long in coming: “waschies” — the idea of my big daughter Antonia. Oeko-Tex certificate — patent protection — design protection — brand protection — we all set this off the ground together. 2022 The vision of waschies is to make the world a little better and more sustainable with innovative products.

Having always been a creative person it was natural choice to start making soaps, candles and more from there. Looking to create an eco friendly and sustainable brand that could be developed into a scalable business. Its been highly interesting developing a great range of products and the positive feedback I continue to get drives me on to strive to grow the business.

Brooklynites Edie + Brian Himmel started experimenting with delish flavored lip balms back in 2003 with one goal in mind: combining wholesome, high quality ingredients with creative, intriguing and super cool flavors. There were many 3AM experiments to craft the perfect lip balm. This quickly soon turned into our obsession! If it wasn’t perfect, it wouldn’t make the cut! It was trying, tiring and challenging but we were determined to make it happen. After what seemed like endless nights, we had finally done it. We were beyond elated and couldn’t wait to share our recipe with the world. Creamy butter like goodness with just the right amount of coat. And just like that, our first baby – Crazy Rumors – was born!

Hi I'm Jo. I launched Valley Mist in 2016 with just four plastic free Lip Balms. Each deeply nourishing and protective, free from overly processed chemicals. My intention was to create a lip balm formula made from raw, natural or naturally derived ingredients to balance well with my efforts to live in harmony with nature. Together with the paper tube packaging, it worked so well with my plans for a low waste business. Since then the world has switched on to low impact living and the urgency to our planet's climate. I have continued to develop plastic free ranges for Valley Mist, including mother & baby products, natural skincare, UP-CYCLED candles from our oils and butters waste, plus various accompanying low impact and sustainable beauty accessories. We make an annual donation of 8.5% of the profits towards environmental cause charities, this pledge has been in place since our launch. Every sale of the lip balm in paper tubes AND the up cycled candles generate a donation. Our selected charities: The Lancashire, Merseyside and greater Manchester Wildlife Trusts and The World Land Trust. Both organisations are doing great things to protect the environment for the future. As someone sensitive to pollution, I think it is key to asses and consider the ingredients we use on our bodies as well as those we put into them, we can make a change and be kinder to our our precious Earth. Toddle and Born was founded in 2019 concentrating on the small batch manufacture of baby & children's apparel.
