We're a family business on a mission to give female artisans financial independence through our handmade, sustainable wicker bags. Wicker Wings started as a brother and sister duo, Belinda and James, who after finding out our Māma (Grandma) handwoven baskets in her village in China in hope for a better life. Fast forward 30 years and this is still the case in rural parts of Asia today. So we created Wicker Wings as a way of shining light on our grandmother’s past and support the current generation of these incredible female artisans. We want to help current female weavers so they can have the same financial independence our Mama had - we call this, Māma's Mission.

22 Tote was established in 2010. We are in the handbag and accessory wholesale business. We are known for our commitment in manufacturing fun & functional products at affordable prices. We stand behind the quality of our products. Our products are mostly soft, lightweight and available in many vibrant colors. Our cream colored, polka-dot lining in most of our products have become one of our signature features. Our bags are made with vegan leather which offers easy maintenance and most importantly is cruelty free. We are very proud that we have a large customer base who are return customers due to our credibility and excellent customer service. LUZ Collection was born from wanderlust and curiosity. LUZ was founded in 2013 by Chantale De Breceda, who began importing textiles from Mexico for her store YES in Los Angeles. After YES closed at the end of 2017 De Breceda turned importing into a full time job. She works directly with artists in various regions of Mexico to bring her own designs to life and to source traditional designs. The LUZ catalogue reflects a commitment to work with artisans using natural materials and traditional techniques. De Breceda is a member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia and a descendant of the Cowessess First Nation of Saskatchewan. She brings her perspective as an indigenous person to her business practices and is guided by the principles of respect, reciprocity, relevance and responsibility in her work ethic. Although LUZ Collection is not certified free trade, we make every effort to work using fair trade guidelines.

With the respect and embrace to our artisans' hand skills craftsmanship, our priority is to ensure that artisans are paid with sustainable living wages. We understand that handmade takes time, our brand adapted the slow made and slow fashion concept in mind, as well as our artisan work and well-being. Along the journey, our brand has diversified handmade rattan bags to handmade shoes, tailor-made clothing, handcrafted rattan furniture and home decor. We like to feature a wide range of craftsmanship works and support as many artisans in our sustainability journey. We support artisans to continue their unique handcraft skills and to carry on to our next generation. We only make exceptional quality handcrafted goods that meant to last year after year. Our productions are only made in small batches and made on demand to avoid excessive consumption and waste. Our brand, Pink Haley, is named after my daughter, Haley. As a conscious parent, our brand is to instill this value to our future generation and to encourage as many of us to be socially and environmentally conscious to our planet, as makers, brands and consumers.

We have 3 divisions within our factory, interiors, outerwear/accessories, and handbags, everything is hand-cut and made from the finest leather, cowhide and sheepskin, which is sustainably resourced as close to home as possible. The Shebobo team consists of over 400 artisans that work in collectives around the countryside of Madagascar, an island east of Africa. Our products are made from all natural fibers, including raffia, rush, sisal & banana palm. These fibers are renewable, sustainable & biodegradable. The raw materials are hand dyed and prepared for looming by splitting the palm leaves into thread like balls of yarn for weaving or crocheting, using the same traditional weaving techniques learned over 100 years ago. These fibers are naturally dyed and woven into hats, bags and other accessories. Every accessory is unique, and there can be slight irregularities in the shade and shape of the bags due to the nature of its craftsmanship. Because each piece is hand-dyed the natural fibers may fade with time. With over 80% of the population of Madagascar living below the poverty level, it is imperative to support artisans with fair trade & fair wage practices to sustain families, communities & artisan traditions.
