In 1896 Emidio Mele emigrated to New York City where he lived with a family from his small hometown of Volturara Irpini that nestles at the feet of the 'Terminio' in the Province of Compania in Italy. He was only twelve years old but moving to America meant a chance for a new life and he was lucky to have the help of his surrogate Italian Family as well as a few mentors to get him started on what would become his future legacy. Learning his craft from fine Jewellery display case makers Wolfsam and Sachs, Emidio soon had the skills he needed. In 1912 Emidio and his wife opened a store on 'Mulberry Street', New York. His new venture focused on designing and building his own elegant Jewellery displays for stores and eventually jewellery boxes for home storage. Ever the entrepreneur, he was the craftsman, salesman, and deliveryman as well. With his attention to detail and design, it was not long before Emidio began to attract high-end customers for his jewellery boxes from New York's Fifth Avenue. As we arrive at our 100th anniversary, we now call our family brand “Mele & Co.” which best encompasses our brand – it's not just Mele – it is our entire company – our family. We continue to be the most desired name in jewellery cases throughout the world. Our name is our brand. We infuse the heritage of our family into each of our jewellery boxes and continue to offer you innovative and timeless designs for years of happiness and sentimental memories.
We are Ian & Phil, friends since school and co-founders of Holme & Hadfield. Until 2018 we were living a life by default, at which point we made the decision to live a life by design. We were in our 30s and burnt out with demands of city life. Within the space of 6 months, we had quit our jobs and so happened to be traveling through South America at the same time. After one too many beers on a beach in Brazil, we made the decision to start a business and never go back to life as we knew it. This decision, to do something different, changed the trajectory of ours lives and so we agreed from the beginning to share the message to our customers that you don't have to keep up with the Jones' to get ahead. You can run your own race, a race that fulfils you.
Keren Kopal As an art and antique collector, Keren has traveled the world, following her passion for aesthetics and beauty. Each item is crafted with care, painted by hand in a special technique and plated with 24K gold or 925 sterling silver. The gems decorating Keren's pieces are Austrian and Swarovski crystals. The idea of Stackers was born 14 years ago out of a love of organisation, and the idea that everything has its own place. We noticed that there was a lack of beautiful and flexible jewellery storage, so we decided to create it ourselves. Although Stackers is still rooted in these values, our collection has now grown to include travel, home, cosmetics and recently our bag collection, with an aim of helping to keep every aspect of your life beautifully organised. Our parent company, LC Designs, is based just outside of London and has been running as a family business since 1922, now reaching the 4th generation of the family. We have a pretty unique history; Starting out in clocks and watches with premises in the iconic Hatton Garden, ‘Mr P’ even gifted Princess Diana a watch! Moving from there to Farringdon, then to Dulwich (where our warehouse was an old cinema) before expanding into our premises today. With lots of long-standing staff as well as newer additions we are invested in making sure we continue to provide the best support and care for our amazing team and customers.
One of a kind gift ideas from our innovative ‘Earring Books’ to our ‘Bundle Bags.’ These are a must have staple for anyone who wears jewellery The Little Shop Of was started by my wife, Jackie and me, Simon in April 2009 to sell our new product The Little Book of Earrings. The book came about after Jackie had, searched for years for a neat way to store and organise her earrings. There are several good products available like earring ‘trees’ that will keep earrings organised but the drawback with these is they have to stand on the dressing table or shelf. We were after something that would hold the earrings securely but could also be kept in a drawer for safekeeping or, when traveling, could be carried in a suitcase.

The origin of Maison Scarlett, a young brand from Lille, began with a very simple observation: the supply of jewelry boxes in France was (very) disappointing. Indeed, it was rare to find them in stores and the few available were really not of high quality. He then turned, as is often the case in these cases, to the Internet and again, to his surprise, the offer was just as poor. As a good entrepreneur, he didn't need more to embark on this great (rather unusual) adventure: launch the first French jewelry box brand! He started by studying the market and looking for suppliers. Then Louis, also an entrepreneur friend, joined him on the adventure to create and develop the brand. Today Maison Scarlett is a team of 6 people Benjamin, Louis, Agathe, Agathe, Laura, Margaux and Louise, who works every day to allow you to pamper your jewelry by designing functional, pretty and accessible jewelry boxes.
