Awkward Affections is about evasive love, nerdy escapism, and the ridiculous, every-day circumstances of life. Through sassy greeting cards, whimsical illustrations and general cheekiness, the goal is to help connect people through realistic communication, vibrant humor and the weirdness within us all. Although grown in San Francisco for 8 years, we have found a new home in Portland, Oregon, where everything is personally designed, illustrated and printed. Awkward Affections is committed to sustainability and I try to keep my entire process as environmentally friendly as possible. From packaging to envelopes, I am continually sourcing new supplies in order to find the best recycled or eco-friendly products so we can spread more beauty and less waste!
