Ideal Stencils Ltd is based in the U.K, in a small village called Driffield, close to the East Yorkshire coast. Our business has naturally evolved over time. We started from working out of a spare room, hand cutting all our stencil orders and today we are a well established brand with trained staff and expanding as we go! We have a fresh and creative outlook that shows in the design of our broad selection of home decor and craft stencils. Stencils can be used to add a new lease of life to many up-cycled and re-purposed furniture items but you can use a stencil for adding cost effective, decorative finishes to many other surfaces: Walls, floors, fabrics etc... Our mission is to inspire more people to use stencils to create unique, hand painted finishes to their decorative projects. We see a Stencil as a simple yet inspiring and versatile tool that makes the whole process of carrying out decorative projects creative, fun and rewarding.

The Stencil Studio Ltd was set up by sisters Nikki and Clare in 2008. From our humble beginnings of hand cutting stencils in a converted garage, our family business has grown over the years. We are now a recognised stencil brand offering unique quality laser cut stencils from our head office near the Cotswold, UK. Our beautifully packaged reusable quality stencils are perfect for a wide range of DIY decorating projects, crafts and hobbies. From stencilling walls, fabric, furniture, patios, tiles, floors and more, to scrapbooking, creating cards, gift tags, wrapping paper and other paper crafts. If you can Paint it, you can Stencil it! Our stencils are suitable for use with any type of paint so ideal for all your home décor and craft needs. All our stencils are cut from a thin but strong and flexible Mylar film (190 micron). Our Mylar is also food grade so you can even use them to decorate your cakes and cookies too! Our mission is to inspire you to get creative. A stencil is an easy to use decorative tool. Inspired by a spontaneous encounter with a tired bee, Co-founders of Beevive Jake and Faye created The Original Bee Revival Kit. How it all started... Our bee saving story began summer of 2018. During a short break in Cornwall, we were out exploring when we discovered a tired bee. Unequipped, with no flowers nearby, we carefully picked up our new friend and started our search for sugar and water. We soon found a café keen to help and mixed a sugar water solution onto a spoon. We gathered outside, waited and after a few sips our new companion had enough energy to BUZZ away! It was on this day the idea of BEEVIVE was born. A keyring to provide a one-off energy boost. Following the launch of The Original Bee Revival Kit our passion for bees has continued to grow, becoming more aware of the importance of bees and their concerning decline. Wanting to do more, we designed the bamboo edition. Made from sustainably sourced bamboo; a keyring for sowing seeds, planting trees and saving bees. Each kit is designed, assembled and packed from our studio in Exeter, Devon. Since then our product range and community has grown tremendously and we couldn't 'bee' prouder. Our social media is buzzing with photos and videos of people helping bees all over the World. We have visited schools, hosted workshops and worked with business, sharing our knowledge (and passion!) for the importance of pollinators and what we can do to help. Welcome to Feather Felts!! Throughout my creative life, I realise that felting for me is the culmination of many disciplines and experiences. One of the main influences was Kaffe Fassett, the famous American knitter and embroiderer who arrived in England in the early 60’s. His work is an explosion of colour and detail. I have visited many galleries and museums and always gravitate to colour and nature. Georgia O’Keefe is another artist who I admire greatly. I have quilted, embroidered, painted, drawn, sewn and crafted over the years and now concentrate on my best love - felting! It is so versatile and allows me to create landscapes in wet felt and animals in needle felt. The sheer variety of Britain’s wildlife and plant life offer endless inspiration and, always the teacher, I love to share and teach others. PLEASE NOTE: Regarding the Needle Felting Kits "with foam" or "without foam" option... The foam option sells best as gifts and for first-time needle felters as they are a COMPLETE KIT. Nothing else is needed. The without foam option are for people who already have their own foam or similar to work on and have needle felted before. We are a small family business and strive to create kits and models that people will love. We live in a small village surrounded by countryside and near the sea which is where I draw my inspiration from. This is where my love for supplies came from because we all know we need more supplies then we are going to make with. I decided to become a UK craft supplier as back when I started there wasn’t many of them around and still to this day I absolutely adore what I do.
