Sam, our founder is a 17-year-old 5th-generation farmer. He started Smart Mushrooms when he heard about the medicinal properties of lion's mane mushrooms and the potential they possess to help help with Parkinson's' disease. Sam's grandfather has P.D. and this acted as a motivator to start SM. Since then Sam started his farm and now produces grow kits and lions mane tinctures for his customers but most importantly his grandfather. At Smart Mushrooms we are driven to help the environment and research the amazing world of fungi that is often overlooked.
