She always had a passion for craft and design and wanted to make Marley something special before she was born. So she pulled her dusty sewing machine out of the closet and created a stuffed monster doll out of fabric scraps she'd collected for years. The monster doll was the catalyst that inspired Sarah to make Marley everything she needed, with sustainability and reusability in mind. Throughout cloth diapering and the baby years, she designed and developed many products, and learned what worked, and what didn't. Every recommendation or new product request from our customers has helped us to grow into what Marley's Monsters is today.

The world is in the midst of a global climate crisis—one that is impossible to ignore. As a working mum with two young children Jo could see the growing plastic crisis and did not accept that waste is an inevitable consequence of how we consume products. Having set up a reusable nappy network she was constantly looking for ways to reduce plastic use and to cut single-use household plastics out of her life but struggled to find the right products. Either the plastic-free alternatives she looked for did not exist, or they weren’t truly plastic-free, biodegradable or compostable. With a firm belief that no matter what you are looking for, there is almost always an option that is comparable in price, equal or better in quality, and that doesn’t come at the expense of others or our planet and as a mum who values family above all and wants to be able to tell her children that she did everything she could to be part of the solution, she took action. In 2014 Ecoliving was created to support small independent companies that shared her vision of sustainable living to bring you products that are sustainable, effective and accessible to all We’ve all heard, “It’s about the bottom line.” But here at Ecoliving - Planet comes before Profit Sustainability is at the core of all we do from transparent and ethical sourcing, production, and distribution of products that truly deliver on social responsibility claims. In 2020 we achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification an

ecojiko

At ecojiko, we’re on a mission to inspire people to waste less and reuse more with our fun range of sustainable alternatives to everyday household plastics. A small family business based in Lancaster, our products are useful and beautiful - making it easy for customers to make greener choices. I’m Katy, the founder of ecojiko. My journey began over a decade ago in East Africa, where I worked for many years. There, I was inspired by a culture of reuse and resourcefulness—values that felt worlds apart from the disposable mindset I encountered upon returning to the UK. Frustrated by the overwhelming amount of single-use plastic, I launched ecojiko to offer practical, planet-friendly solutions. Our range is designed to stand out on retail shelves, with plastic-free packaging and a strong eco-conscious ethos. Every product has a sustainable benefit—whether it’s reusable, durable, biodegradable, compostable, or made from natural materials—to encourage more mindful shopping habits. We can also customise our brushes with your store logo for a personalised touch. Stocked in over 260 independent stores and recently launched in Oxfam stores across the UK, ecojiko has also been featured in The Observer, The Guardian, and The Daily Express. If you're a zero waste shop, refill store, farm shop, garden centre, or boutique gift store looking for high-quality, sustainable products that customers will love, we’d love to partner with you!
