With BAR-U-EAT you're getting real people and real food. We’re on a mission to make the best darn bar you’ll eat, while having more fun together and less single use plastic everywhere. We live in the mountains of Colorado, we love to get outdoors, have fun and not take ourselves too seriously. Founded by childhood best friends Sam and Jason, and inspired from Sam’s time working as a guid in Iceland, we committed ourselves to making a bar with ingredients you can see, taste and know. We lightly roast oats, nuts, and seeds and combine them with the warm sweetness of medjool dates and local Steamboat Springs honey, finished with a touch of salt. The result — a deliciously sweet yet savory snack that tastes incredible, is both soft and crunchy, and comes sealed in BPI Certified, plant-based compostable packaging. We make all our bars and bites in our facility, just outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where we take pride in what we do, making sure it's at the highest level. As a value driven business we focus on clean organic ingredients, free of any oils or preservatives, and sealed in compostable packaging and aim to make health and wellness accessible, welcoming and fun for everyone.
