About Louella Jewellery

I am a self taught jewellery maker based in Dartmoor, England. My Cornish upbringing instilled a deep love of nature which is echoed in my organic designs. I predominantly work with sterling silver; incorporating copper, brass and gold detailing. One off gemstones feature heavily in my work creating dramatic, bespoke pieces which encapsulate my bold and unique style. I utilise natural products from Cornwall and Dartmoor, combing beaches, woods and wild places to find the shells, coral, sea glass and curiosities that feature within my work, colouring the range with individuality. My range includes one of a kind pieces which are totally unique and collections of popular designs. My aim is to create jewellery that is personal and reflective of the natural places that surround me so each wearer can own an original piece. I now live on Dartmoor, England with my husband and two daughters, finding the balance between being a full time mum and part time jeweller!

ivy and ginger

Founded in 2020, at the heart of ivy & ginger is a mission to empower individuality through joyful, handmade jewellery. My designs celebrate freedom of expression and the timeless charm of artisan craftsmanship over mass production. Each piece is thoughtfully created to reflect personality, vibrancy, and the joy of embracing your unique style. Comfort is just as important as style in my creations. I understand how essential it is for jewellery to feel as good as it looks, especially for those with sensitive ears. That’s why I use surgical steel findings across my entire collection, ensuring that my pieces are lightweight, gentle, and perfect for all-day wear. Sustainability is an important consideration of ivy & ginger. From carefully selected materials to mindful production practices, I strive to create jewellery that is not only kind to you but also to the environment. Each piece is a celebration of colour, creativity, and craftsmanship, designed to spread happiness and inspire confidence in everyone who wears it.

Helen Chalmers

Helen Chalmers is a trained jewelry designer who specialises in glass. Based in Scotland she studied at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee and now transforms Italian and German glass into earrings and pendants from her Queensferry workshop using the technique of lampworking. She adores working with colour and adding a wee slick of coloured enamel and precious metals to finish some of her pieces. Helen is keen to make her work affordable and accessible so anyone can own a bit of art jewelry if they fancy it! Her studs are the most popular item by far, they are made by melting glass directly onto the hypoallergenic surgical steel posts meaning they are permanently fused together with no need for glue. As such, they are suitable for vegans and can be worn without any paranoia of glue coming apart. Enjoy browsing and thank you for looking!

Nina Designs

Up to 10% off

*****Every item we produce in Thailand is made from 100% post-consumer recycled silver.***** When I founded Nina Designs in 1983, I was determined to create a company that had a positive impact on the world. This commitment informs every aspect of Nina Designs, from our dedication to fair trade, to our micro-loan program, from our efforts to care for the planet, to our carefully crafted company culture. Most of our designs begin as a dream. We have an idea, sketch it out in meticulous detail and send it to Asia where it is brought to life by our talented silversmiths in Bali and Thailand. These skilled artisans are a treasured part of our jewelry community and we treat them with the respect they deserve. In a turbulent world, beautiful art plays an important role by lifting our spirits and nurturing our creativity. At its best, jewelry is art that enriches daily life, both for the person wearing it and for those who notice it. Like many of you, I seem to have been born with a love of jewelry. As a little girl admiring ancient treasures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I discovered a passion that would last a lifetime. I hope our jewelry designs fill you with joy and inspiration.
