"Les Sablés d'Asnelles" is an artisanal biscuit factory founded in 1904. It is located in the heart of the small town of Asnelles, in Calvados (14). Developed by the baker of the time, the recipe for the legendary pure AOP Isigny butter shortbread has never changed, an ancestral recipe, well-kept and passed down from generation to generation. The Asnelles shortbread is a simple shortbread, with the taste and aroma of yesteryear, made from carefully selected quality ingredients, mainly local; French wheat flour, sugar, AOP Isigny butter, and free-range eggs... The manufacturing methods are artisanal, with fresh eggs broken by hand as well as the clearing and boxing of the biscuits.
