Carmen Says was born in Barcelona at the beginning of 2021 at the hands of four young people with a clear mission: to analyze the fashion trends of each season in order to answer the question: What cannot be missing in my wardrobe? In order to answer these questions every 15 days a new collection is launched where 5-6 new key models are presented following the current fashion trends by creating must-have basic staples. As a result, our products are produced in Spain, the productions are all adjusted to our sales to avoid excess stocks and sustainable articles are part of almost every collection presented. Taeve Africa is a sustainable clothing brand born in South Africa and inspired by African travel. We have now launched in the UK and are ready to be the go-to linen brand! Taeve Africa has pieces that take you from seaside cocktails to sunset safari's under the African sun. All of our products are made with certified European Flax linen, making the fabric traceable and therefore confidently sustainable. The products are then manufactured by a team of dedicated Taeve seamstresses at a factory called the Cotton Farm in Bangladesh. Not wanting to go without panties, or wear a tight-fitting girdle that left strange bulges, she cut off the sides of her panties and taped them on.The tape didn’t work so well that first night, but she knew she could perfect her panty concept, so she filed for a patent and began the design process. After hearing "NO" over and over again by big manufacturer's she ventured into the unknown and became her own manufacturer. She knew they weren't thinking outside of the box and she was tired of being told that what she wanted to do, could NOT be done. Undeterred, she found a way.
