Inspiration for UKUSCAdoggie came from two beloved rescue dogs, Massey, a German Shepherd mix, and Rocky, a little Shih Tzu-Poodle, with a heart murmur. These dogs, followed by Simon, Clyde, Tilly, and Roxy, introduced us to the world of global rescue and a community of such caring, loving people so in need of support. Trying to help was a no-brainer! Particularly passionate about senior rescue, we believe every dog deserves a second chance, so we endeavor to promote the work of rescue and adoption organizations, educate as to why prospective dog owners should consider adoption first, and share information about dogs available for adoption, as well as regularly donating to the cause. Additionally, we are extremely interested in the many ways dogs positively impact our mental health, and we love partnering with organizations where canines are instrumental in helping humans navigate life's challenges.Read their story
