Weapons transformed into symbols of love, each piece of ARTICLE22 jewelry is a modern heirloom transformed from Vietnam War bomb shrapnel and scrap by artisans in Laos. Fragments of history are redesigned with intention. Finished with precious stones and metals, each piece is etched with hopeful messages that inspire action toward our future, individually and collectively. Each design starts a conversation about how we can unite around our shared belies and transform our world. We believe that History is now. Based between Brooklyn and Laos, we have built a sustainable supply chain over the last ten years which has expanded to over 40 artisans including husband and wife metalsmiths, papermakers, and weavers. And with every piece sold, we contribute to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) clear some of the 80 million unexploded bombs still contaminating land in Laos. To date, we have donated to clear over 400,000 square meters of land. We count customers in over 30 countries including retail partners. Internationally, specialty boutiques in Australia, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and museum shops like the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo share our work and story.
