I sell homeware and house accessories that I co-design and come from Bali, to people all over the world. Customers that are looking for items that effect smaller businesses in a positive way. We feel privileged to help a country that is susceptible to natural disasters, tourism fails and problems with their economy. I love homeware that's not commercially made in a factory or from a big high-street store and that is unique and sustainable, fashionable and eco-friendly. My products give joy, visual enjoyment and happiness to it's customers. Sometimes nostalgia for a holiday like gap years or a honeymoon experience. My name is Chad Richardson and I started Fallen Timbers Custom Woodworking based out of Austin Texas. I make my custom cutting and charcuterie boards from solid slabs of hardwood that are locally sourced and milled right here in Central Texas. Using nothing but solid hardwoods provides for a unique and truly one-of-a-kind item that is sure to complement and enhance any kitchen decor. Fallen Timbers and my "Tree of Life" logo come from my commitment to use only locally harvested, locally milled, and sustainable common and exotic hardwoods. The majority of my slabs come from trees that would have otherwise been turned into mulch or burned off. The Tree of Life represents exactly what my company and brand convey - personal development, uniqueness and individual beauty.

In 2020 Rosie expanded Rosie Glow’s range into homeware, starting with colourful soap dishes to accompany her soap bars and moving on to candle holders, plant pots, trays and more. In 2017, Florian, a globetrotter from Krefeld, is spending a few months in Cambodia for a diving instructor course. During this time, he and his partner at the time dive deep into the local community and experiences, such as organized swimming lessons for local children, ensure that Florian and his partner want to help people. You had already seen decorated coconut shells in many markets. The sustainability and unique character of the bowls, together with the opportunity to share your experiences and support local people, quickly leads to the idea of founding a sustainable shop. The idea of Makapli was born. So put 100 trays in your backpacks and bring them to Germany. The coconut shells are so well received by friends and acquaintances that all the shells are sold out after just a few days. And so it is not long considered and Makapli founded. In the meantime, the range has been expanded more and more with sustainable products such as silk lanterns and candles. The conditions we set for this: The products are produced fairly, are sustainable and show the character of the country.
