I founded Chocolita with the intention of combining botanicals in chocolate for flavorful, unique, and delectable foods. I had long been a student of herbalism because of my desire to balance my health naturally. I began studying chocolatiering in 2005, and one day it struck me to combine my two passions together. Chocolita is a company that focuses on raising awareness of botanicals through exciting flavor profiles, coupled with sustainable business practices. From the sourcing of our cacao to the packaging of each individual bar, and every step in between, thought has gone into how ethical of a decision we can make without compromising on profitability and above all, flavor.
