Where does the word Infidel come from? During the War on Terror, the enemies of our great nation referred to us as "nonbelievers" or "infidels". Servicemembers who deployed to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan gladly took on that moniker as the enemy of our enemy. Jason is a disabled Marine veteran who served in the Marine Corps Reserve 2001-2009, and deployed to Iraq 3 times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While serving in the Marines, Jason also worked as a Corrections Officer at Lebanon Correctional Institution in southwest Ohio 2005-2021. After a brief 2 years of working in healthcare, Jason decided it was time to retire to focus on his family and growing business. Our family business was created to help heal from the effects of war and from PTSD, while providing customers with quality and professional care. In doing so, if an item is ordered that we are about to discontinue or stop printing we will notify the retailer and work on a solution that benefits both parties. All orders are subject to a three (3) week (minimum) printing turn around. Due to being a small business we may not always having the stock levels or sizes requested on hand. All stocked items will be offered to you and shipped immediately if available. We will not do a new run of shirts to fill one missing size. If this occurs both parties will work to replace the piece with another. In 2014, Marcia took a missions trip that forever touched her heart. She was physically able to see and experience true poverty with her own eyes. She came home with a desire to make a difference. Marcia knew she could not help all the orphans, but she knew God called her to just start with one. Burdened with a desire to make a difference, Marcia came home and prayed. She had no idea where to start, no business plan, no road map, and absolutely no idea how to make a bracelet. BUT God…answered her prayers, and He gave her a passion and a purpose! A passion to not only help the orphans in Haiti and to remind them to Never Lose Hope, but also a way to empower, encourage, and uplift others with the jewelry that you love and wear. Within a few years, with her husband Ken by her side, they have sold over 100,000 bracelets! Each one is hand strung by Marcia, her friends and even some of their sweet parents, including Marcia’s precious dad who strung his last bracelet and went to be with Jesus in May 2022. Alongside their bracelets, they expanded shortly thereafter with an apparel line. Their screen printing team has designed and printed thousands upon thousands of faith inspired and uplifting tees that have been sold to individuals and countless boutiques across the USA and Canada. Hey, I'm Alex! CEO + Professional-ish daydreamer here at KLSD! I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, wife and mama 4 little humans! I started KLSD in 2014 out of my garage and through it, I have been given the gift of new life in Christ! My calling and mission with KLSD is to radiate Christ's love and put the Gospel on display though apparel, events and content! My family, and I were leaving church one Sunday, when suddenly my mind began to flood with t-shirt ideas I had come up with some time ago for a line of t-shirts. We had been promotional printers for years printing everyone else’s designs for their businesses, churches, teams, pretty much anyone that needed printing. But I had always wanted to have a clothing line of my own. So I developed the line, and started knocking on doors, clothing stores, souvenir shops, boutiques, anyone that would carry a t-shirt. Soon our line was in 4 stores & we were excited about the possibility that this could be the beginning of something really successful! One day, while speaking with a boutique owner in Decatur, Texas, she told me that I should take my line to Dallas Market. So we prayed, and decided to put money that needed to go towards paying rent towards getting a spot at Market, and building a display booth from reclaimed wood. That first market, we made it into 20 stores! Fast forward a few years and we are still growing rapidly, now in over 1000 stores and adding more all the time. We have gone from just the two of us printing, to a team of great employees and great vendors carrying our line who we love. And of course we couldn’t do any of this without the Lord having giving us the inspiration, direction, and determination to do it. Our garage (slash gym, slash actual garage) has been stuffed full of boxes, and our friends and family have been recruited to help with everything from taking boxes to the post office, modeling for photo shoots, and being strong shoulders during our toughest days.
