From early on, she discovered a passion for both science and art. Carrie holds a doctorate in evolutionary biology, understanding that beauty and design drive her inquiry of the natural world. Conversely, her jewelry aesthetic is influenced by science - balancing the clean lines of modern geometry with the organic imperfection of nature. Nature isn’t just an inspiration. It’s our business model. We take our environmental responsibility seriously. The natural world is our muse, and we have promised to treat her kindly. We use only natural materials in our jewelry, and we strive to use renewable and recycled materials in everything we do, from sourcing to shipping.
