Every face has a story to tell, and artist Katie Mendez started discovering faces - and stories - through her paintbrush in spring 2023. As a long time crafter, quilter, and collector of female portraits, the creation of a small series of her own portraits grew into a large collection of one-of-a-kind pieces, and San Bonita Studio was born. A select number of sold original paintings are now available as archival prints and stickers.
