Kimberly Schafer is the President and Founder of BringThings, Inc., and the Ring Thing is her design and dream. She started working on the RIng Thing design in 2013 while working full-time as a medical research administrator at UC San Diego. The Ring Thing concept came to Kim as she went to nail salons to get her nails done and needed to remove her rings. There was never a convenient and safe place to put them. She felt there must be a better way, and the Ring Thing was born. Her first design in 2013 was made from paper, and the concept evolved. Kim also worked out at a boxing gym and needed to take off her rings to glove up, as did many of her fellow boxers. As she told friends about the Ring Thing, more uses came to light – the need for the Ring Thing became more apparent. We are seeing market growth in nail and spa saloons, boxing gyms, golf courses, bridal and engagement gifts, impulse items, gift shops and stocking stuffers. Kim has three patents for the Ring Thing design, and trademarked the company name. It is her dream come true to have it manufactured and available to others. A portion of the sale of each Ring Thing® will be donated to nonprofits working to stop human trafficking. Our goal is to contribute to individual well-being through our products, and to our collective well-being by giving back. Our products are proudly made in the USA.
