Made By Melz is owned and operated by jewelry designer/artist, Melanie Maloney. The majority of the handmade items are made from vintage repurposed silverware and other unique repurposed products. Rather than throwing out or never using beautiful vintage silverware, Made By Melz strives to repurpose/up-cycle them into something where they shine in their new second chance life. Melanie was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina and also lived in Charleston, SC for 10 years. She graduated from Salem College in 1999. She currently lives in Greensboro, North Carolina and has 2 amazing Orange Tabby cats named Honeybee and Cinnamon. When not making jewelry, she’s either running or taking care of clients from her pet sitting business. Everything is 💯 handmade by Melanie, which makes them unique. While every piece can look exactly the same, there could be a slight difference because they are in fact, handmade.
