Beast of Paradise, my humble business based on the edge of the forest in South of the Netherlands. A place where deer roam the streets and at night you fall asleep to the hooting of owls. It is my little paradise... I started drawing on an early age. In love with all beasts living, extinct and nature, and therefore the red thread in my work as an illustrator. Me, Berith - owner and self-taught artist, started with Beast of Paradise in 2019. In the years that followed till now I made several cute and fun, whimsical colour pencil works and scientific illustrations. I want my illustrations to stand out. Because the natural world is so very important for me, I try to avoid plastic as much as possible. I reuse packaging material and I do not use single-use plastics for my cards.
