When founder Nick Walker was on the hunt for sustainable, durable, stylish and protective sunglasses for his young daughter that could match with an adult pair, there seemed a market gap. Moana Sunnies was born (and the sunglass obsession of a toddler began). Being based on an Island in the Pacific where he was constantly seeing plastics floating in the Ocean, Nick searched out sunglasses that were produced from recycled plastic bottles and nets recovered from sea. Not only protecting our eyes but also our oceans {Moana is Hawaiian for Ocean}. Our sunnies are designed for whatever floats your boat; a morning surf session, dog walk, trail run, playground hang or happy hour…they are designed for life so don’t be afraid to get out there, splash in the water and have fun!

@midas_eyewear is 5 years old independent Canadian best-selling eyewear brand, taking the inspiration from the city of Toronto. We are looking to partner with an independent Optical Stores, Opticians and Optometrists to carry our trendy and colourful high quality brand. Our existing partners call us: Best Kept Canadian Secret! And as King Midas was known to turn everything he touches into a gold, we believe everyone who wears Midas eyewear will have a golden touch (the ability to achieve success easily and consistently)!

OUR MOTIVATION AWANA, which means loom in native Ecuadorian Quichua, was born in 2015 due to our deep admiration for handcrafts and ancestral techniques. In collaboration with indigenous artisans from different areas of The Andes our goal is to maintain their traditions, materials and original garments, with a modern twist for today’s users. Our products are carefully woven by craftsmen, who for generations have used their techniques as an expression of their folklore, customs and native materials. Our utmost priority is to promote the sustainable development of indigenous handcrafts and work on the continued improvement of their quality and design, driven by a strong fair trade philosophy. We firmly believe in the work of our artisans and we want to share it with the world. We can proudly say everything we do is… Handmade in Ecuador with Love.

We have been using recycled materials since before it was cool! -Our process begins by sorting single use plastic bottles and food containers. -The recycled plastics are shredded, cleaned and refined into workable pellets. -The pellets are then used during our molding process to produce new frames. -The end result - a 100% recycled frame that helps reduce the amount of single use plastics from ending up in our environment. 70% of our frame styles are made this way now.
