The ProSeed® Sunflower Seed Cup has its origins in the creative mind of an 11-year-old boy from Oklahoma (our son). The spark of inspiration struck during a summer day in 2015 while he and his mother were enjoying sunflower seeds on their way back from chess camp. Playfully tossing the shells out of the slightly opened windows, a mishap occurred when the mother, finishing her snack, accidentally rolled up the passenger side window, catching the boy's fingers. Once the momentary pain subsided, he had an idea. He made a prototype from a plastic cup, foil, paper towel roll, and a little duct tape. From that moment, our brand was created.
