I'm Melody, and I'm the owner of Grace & Grain Design Company. This business started in 2020 when I left my job as a NICU RN to stay home with our kids. My family has owned a sign and graphics business for many years, and I was fortunate to grow up learning that trade. As a kid I had even always talked about having my own business, my own specialty to compliment theirs, and now it was time to bring that dream to reality. I turned to my years of design and business experience, bought a laser, and launched this brand. The early years were filled with lots of custom requests as well as products to preserve handwriting, which I still enjoy. I found that one thing I loved, though, was having the ability to make a simple gift to encourage a friend using the tools at my disposal in my business. I realized it was something other people looked for too - affordable and simple products that were high quality, easy to send, and featuring truth from the Word of God or something meaningful to the recipient. Gifts that are good for the small business that makes them, the giver, and the recipient. Gifts that don't get thrown away. I focus a lot of my time on that now. 🤍
