Fluff Trough is a small company based in Denver, CO and was founded in 2018 by Debra and her pug Pork Chop. As a pug, Pork Chop struggled to eat from traditional feeders because of his flat face and worsening health issues as he got older. After searching everywhere for a bowl that would help Pork Chop eat better, Debra was inspired to create a special bowl for him using her 3D printer. When she shared the prototype with other pet parents, she was amazed by their excitement about using the feeder for their pets, too! Today, we are proud to help as many animals as possible with the Fluff Trough, in loving memory of Pork Chop.

Cycle Dog is a dog products manufacturer in Portland Oregon. Woman founded in 2009, we’re a small team of 30 makers and 10 dogs. We produce collars, leashes, bowls, toys, beds, jackets, and rubber toys in Oregon all utilizing post-consumer recycled materials. It all started when we wanted to take Daisy on a bike ride. We searched, bought, and tossed countless popular pet carriers that were on the market. They just didn’t fit Daisy or our lifestyle. She wiggled out, got motion sick, whined, scratched at the sides, threw off our balance, or got needlessly jostled around. So, we created one ourselves and called it the K9 Sport Sack. Daisy has been along for the ride ever since. My husband and I started Prefer Pets in 2006 on an afternoon drive to Victory Park in Pasadena CA, to spend a lovely Saturday with our 2 pekes, Button and ShoSho. On our way there, our boy Button escaped from the carrier that we had bought at a pet box store and proceed to play with us by running around on the floor of the car, ducking under the car seats, and finally wedging himself behind the brake pedal (Button being a tiny 3 months old at the time). Luckily, we were able to stop the car without any injury. This is when we knew we need to have a better carrier to travel safely with our 2 fur-kids. From our first carriers, original duffel and original backpack, created with features and functions that we wished we had on that day, we have persistently evolve the designs of our bags based on feedbacks and pressure points from real customers and from our own journeys with Button and ShoSho as they grew older. Every Prefer Pets product that we make, it is with the thought of what we would want ourselves in term of mindful designs, quality material & construction, and customer service when we were buying pet products for Button and ShoSho. Today, we proudly remain a family business and are still based in Southern California, and while our little boy and little girl are no longer with us, we are committed to continue making quality travel carriers for pets and the people who loves them, for enjoying life’s journey with their own Buttons and ShoShos.

The SNUGGIT Sac has been a true labour of love from the very start. I’m a mother of two fur babies: my first baby boy Clairence and my little love Daizy Girl. I created the SNUGGIT Sac in September of 2016 when my little man was diagnosed with a rare neurological muscle disorder called Myasthenia Gravis. He needed to be held upright for nearly 12 hours a day. I tried every baby carrier and nothing felt right, nor did it allow me to go out for walks or run errands comfortably. I didn't know how much time Clairence and I had together and it was important we spent a lot of quality time together. The SNUGGIT Sac was born out of pure love for Clairence and my desire for him to be close to me while he was unwell. It quickly became his favourite place to "hang" out and when we brought Daizy into the family we quickly discovered she too was in love with the SNUGGIT. It's been a great way for the dogs and I to bond and to be able to take them with me safely and comfortably. We lost Clairence in January 2017 and I am so thankful to have had him by my side everyday until the end. He is both my heart and inspiration.
