Sustainability and ethical sourcing is at the heart of everything we do, from our custom blend of Coconut and Rapeseed wax to our lead-free ceramic candle jars that are 100% hand made in our workshop. All of our products are guaranteed to be Vegan friendly and free from CMR’s, Phthalates, Parabens, Silicone, PEG and any other toxic junk that are often hidden in home fragrance products. Our Story The lockdown of 2020 presented new and unprecedented challenges for us all but for our family it also presented an opportunity! Furlough from our very full time jobs meant we suddenly had the time to explore other interests, some people chose Yoga but for us it was candle making! Sustainability and making environmentally sound purchases as a consumer has always been incredibly important to us however, it wasn't until we stumbled across an article on deforestation caused by Soy planting that our eyes were opened to the knock on consequences of supporting the industry. Determined to find an alternative, we started blending our own wax and after lots of trial, and even more error, we got it just right. These first candles were the seeds of the small business called Nakendle.

MadFlameCandle was born on the love of nature, crystals and anything that smells good. They've created this brand to ensure each candle is all natural and personally handmade with positive energies and quality ingredients. Although their candles are a little bit different than your normal ones, each original 8oz candle is safe to burn and all the little goodies magically swim with the wax. Also with frequent trips thrifting, MadFlame finds and reuses unique vessels and makes them into custom candles. Including dessert or intention candles!

Nema concept was created out of our love and desire to keep our home environmentally friendly and it’s atmosphere beautifully scented. The concrete containers and terrazzo ones are handcrafted and painted from the very beginning by our team in Greece. For our candles we use 100% soy wax (no blends) which is of course poured by hand, so that is why each candle is unique and has its own character. All our products come in an eco-friendly packaging made from recycled or Bio-based Materials. We believe in quality over quantity so we aim to create products that last long. Our mission: 90% of the candles on the market are made of paraffin wax, which emits carcinogens in the air and is generally recommended to burn in open air environments. The soy wax we use is a non-toxic and safer alternative for humans, pets and the environment. We use 100% (vegan friendly) vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans, so be sure that when you use soy wax you will find slow, uniform and most importantly clean burning. Our goal is to create something beautiful and unique that can be used over and over again and leave a green imprint with zero waste. In addition, the materials we use for our packaging are all recyclable.

Welcome! My name is Kelly, the owner of Candle Cabana, a natural soy candle company based out of Connecticut. I started Candle Cabana after I was laid off from my luxury fashion job during the pandemic. After doing research, I soon came to realize that the paraffin wax/blends I had been burning needed to go. Not only was I exposing myself to toxins & chemicals but my family & pets were breathing in those chemicals on my behalf. Three years later & here we are - Candle Cabana, a growing business named after my love for the simple feeling of relaxation at the beach when the salty waves & the sand touch your feet. A business that has exponentially grown & has blessed me as a full-time business owner. We have shipped orders to all 50 States & have a growing Wholesale business that has given us the opportunity to work directly with stockists. Currently, our products are in 120+ shops in the USA & several International Countries. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, each scent is thoughtfully chosen & every individual label is creatively designed.
