In 2020 a vision of opening an apparel company was on the mind of Kelly Williamson with dreams of naming it Legends and Mavericks Apparel. Legend, not only being someone who is famous and admired by a large group of people but someone who made a large impact on a single person. A Maverick being someone who is independent, unconventional or may not think or go about things the same as others, often someone who paves their own way. In 2021 after Kelly, Raegan and Maverick suffered the tragic loss of their son Legend, he vowed to himself that he would not give up on this vision. Afterall Legend would be a front row supporter in making a dream like this become a reality! He knew he needed someone on the team that had some knowledge of the industry. God placed a young lady with years of apparel, wholesale, and retail experience by the name of Whitney Maxey on his heart. They realized their dreams and visions of an apparel company were in align with each other’s. It seemed appropriate they form a partnership founded on the values and ethics of TRUE LEGENDS & MAVERICKS!! IF YOU WANNA BE A LEGEND, YOU GOTTA BE A MAVERICK!
